The stomach is not always acidic as normal physiology suggests. When we eat, hydrochloric acid is released in response to the presence of both protein and the stretching of the stomach as food gets consumed.
Water, similar to alcohol, is absorbed directly through the stomach lining without activating the release of hydrochloric acid. Therefore, if a person drinks alkaline water on an empty stomach before meals, the water will be quickly absorbed and circulated throughout the body.
No. Kangen® Water ionizers are registered as medical devices by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare since 1974. This classification requires clinical evidence. Electrolysed reduced water has peer-reviewed research going back to the 1970s in Japanese hospital settings.
ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) measures antioxidant potential in millivolts. Singapore tap water tests at +200 to +400mV. Freshly ionised Kangen® Water measures between -200mV and -800mV. We demonstrate this live at every home assessment.
ORP or Oxidation Reduction Potential (Antioxidant) of hydrogen ionized water decline quickly so it is best to drink it straight from the ionizer.
If you decide to store it in a container, the ORP values will typically drop by 50 percent within the first 24 hours or so.
Bottled alkaline water only raises pH with minerals. It contains no dissolved molecular hydrogen. H2 escapes through plastic within hours of bottling. Kangen® Water is produced fresh from your tap, retaining its properties at the moment of consumption.
Strong Kangen® pH 11.5: removes oil-based residues. Kangen® pH 8.5 to 9.5: drinking. Neutral pH 7.0: medication or baby formula. Beauty Water pH 5.5 to 6.5: skin toner. Strong Acidic pH 2.5: surface disinfection.
Each cartridge lasts approximately 6,000 litres. For a family using 15 to 25 litres per day, this is 6 to 10 months. The machine alerts you when a replacement is due.
When electrolysis runs for 15 minutes continuously, an automatic 20-second cleaning cycle activates by reversing the electric current, removing mineral deposits from the plates.
Yes. The filter cartridge is designed for user replacement without any tools. The process takes about two minutes: open the filter compartment, pull out the old cartridge, and push in the new one. The machine alerts you when a replacement is due. We provide a short guide with every purchase and are available on WhatsApp if you need assistance the first time.
All machines come with a 5-year manufacturer warranty (JRIV: 3 years) covering defects in materials and workmanship. In the event of a fault, we coordinate warranty service with Enagic on your behalf. You do not deal with an overseas manufacturer directly. Faults are rare given the medical-device manufacturing standards, but when they do occur we handle the process from start to finish.

Typically 45 to 60 minutes. We start with live tap water tests (10 to 15 minutes), run the machine demonstration showing all 5 water types (15 minutes), work through the cost comparison for your household (10 minutes), then take questions. We never rush. When attendees have many questions, sessions run to 90 minutes, which we welcome. There is no obligation to decide during or after the visit.
Technical Questions
Due to the thick, large titanium electrode plates, coated in platinum (completely rust proof), Kangen® Water® ionizers typically last 15-25 years compared to other brands which typically lasts 2-3 years on average.
Minerals such as Ca, Mg, and other mineral clusters in the water supply tend to stick to the electrode plates, which decreases the electrolysis capability of the machine. To counter this, Kangen® Water® ionizers are equipped with an automatic cleaning system that is activated for 20 seconds when water is continually ionized for 15 minutes.
There is also another way to clean the electrolysis cell manually. Setting the water to pH 5.5 and running the water tap for 2-3 minutes gently reverses the electric current and removes the crystals in the electrolysis cell.
Yes. Water comes out from two different hoses (white and grey). In order to prevent contamination and the proliferation of germs in residue water, the draining system is automatically activated when water is ionized and residue water is drained out at the same time.
Water of pH 5.5-11.0 comes out through the white hose, and acidic water (2.5 pH) comes out through the grey hose.
Each filter cartridge will last for approximately 6,000 litres. An averaged sized family typically consumes 15-25 litres of water a day. So one filter cartridge will last for about 6-10 months.
No. Only water at room temperature is dispensed. Boiling or freezing ionized water will reduce or even make it lose its beneficial properties.
Miscellaneous
Yes, we offer free delivery and free basic installation when you purchase a unit with us. Free basic installation is only valid for standard faucets. Any additional requirements will be at the cost of the customer.
When you sign up for the 30 day trial, we will deliver and install the machine for you for an administrative fee. The administrative fee will be refunded if you end up buying a machine after the 30 day trial.
No. You are not obligated to buy the machine after the 30 day trial has ended. We are confident however that you will experience positive changes to your health and well-being (subjective to individual) and we do hope that you will consider purchasing a unit for you and your family’s health and well-being.
